Long about 1994-95, there was an animated show late at night on MTV. It featured a superhero-type dude in a skintight blue suit a la The Flash. He had a very sexy girlfriend/antagonist, and he or she ruled some sort of surrealistic alter-world where they could go when things got shitty…

Got all that? I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it, or any other details. My son and I used to watch it religiously and it’s driving both of us nuts trying to dredge up the name. Can any of you MTV (when it was good) fans help us out? Anyone remember any story lines? Thanks!

Sound like ‘The Maxx’ except that his suit was, IIRC, purple with a yellow stripe. He was a homeless man in our universe, but a superhero in the alternate world.

Don’t remember any storylines, because I didn’t watch it very often.

The Maxx originated as a comic book and new issues are still (occasionally) released. There was also a video of the MTV episodes.
