For me, it’s most of the gummy stuff, especially the sour types. They stick in your teeth and sometimes the flavors are just unnatural. They’re right up there with the wax “candies” of my youth. Oh, and anything with coconut gets a pass from me. No thanks. Why would one ruin perfectly good chocolate with coconut??

Although I like the occasional gummy (at least the special ones), I heartily agree with this list with the addition of marshmallow stuff.

So I have a new grandson, born in the wee hours of Dec. 5! He weighed in at 8lbs. 14 oz, and he’s happy and healthy!

I also found a box mostly full of pot covers, without the pots. Not sure whether they should go to the thrift store or recycling.

From a shopper’s perspective, finding pot / pan lids at the thrift store when you are missing one is the difference between continuing to use a pan or sending it to recycling.

Anyway, I’m going to have to do some mulling and such. I think I’ll take a break from posting for a little while. I know some of you have things much harder than I do, and besides, nobody wants to be around a sad sack, including me.

Sadie is back home and hiding under the bed, minus eleven teeth. They apparently get very brittle and break into many fragments. So we’re $1700 poorer, but she’ll be much happier.

Thank you for taking care of her. You’re right about being much happier (and healthier).

To answer the OP, I enjoy a warm rain in the summer, but detest the cold rains that we get in the fall here. It rained all night last night. I had to suit both Nelson and I up in rain gear to go out before bed and when we got up this morning. Cold rain also makes my bones creakier.

Not a whole lot shaking at CasaRoja, but am enjoying a little reddish dog in my arms.
