Hugs and kisses right back (and yes, the bear is so cute )
It has been too long. I hope you still enjoy your coffee with love from me
I hope so too!!
Remember our first game on Idlemafia?
It was Super Mario and you were Scum and I thought you were really mean. And after the game I just loved the way you played your cards
So many memories - good ones.
If you are scum in this game and I am not - I am certain I’ll love your play when I get to read the spoilers
We are in the sign-up. This is the time to enjoy all the snuggling!!!
Come join
Brilliant play
Because that’s the way to get a girls attention. Vote her and she will be all over you until you unvote.
So many miss the flirtatious side of mafia - such luck you didn’t

Only need one more to really make it a game.
Oh, and for what it’s worth… I love Pleonast’s Mafia games, with all of the crazy mechanics he comes up with… but Conspiracy isn’t Mafia. The fundamental mechanic of Mafia is a Town with greater numbers and who would have all the power, if they had the knowledge, versus a Scum team with knowledge but without numbers who thus has to work secretly. Four major factions throws that out the window.
Ok thanks for speaking up. I felt like the only one who felt that way. I think conspiracy is great, Pleo should figure out how to market it, but like Malazan it’s not Mafia anymore. It’s very different from a play perspective. For a reunion game I would prefer something a little more classic.
Of course! And I hope you still drink your espresso the same way!
Come to the girls’ side, we have Cookies!
So as far as I can see, we have now crested thirty six sign ups. I am DEFINITELY willing to host… but I think I’d need a co-host. This is going to be a lot of stuff to keep track of.
I’d be willing to co-host if you run it. Let me know if you can’t find anyone else.
I’ll 2nd Batman. I don’t remember what role I had, but I remember what role I pretended to be!
40 feels auspicious enough.

I’d do it too. I. Honestly worried about my ability to play in a game that big
Woot
Eh, it’s simply a formalization of third parties. How often do Mafia games not have a serial killer or some other subset with differing win conditions? The Conspiracy rules set lets everyone know what those roles and win conditions are from the beginning. (An open rules set, except for a few secret powers, is one of the design goals.)
And the fundamental mechanic is still there: a large number of Town vs a smaller number of Scum. Lack of information is the main mechanic preventing Town from winning. A subfaction of Town has the same goals as the rest, except they also need to eliminate a few particular Townie players. And a few serial killers pick off whoever they can for their chance to win.
I think the different play has more to do with the facts that it’s a (mostly) open rules set and that everyone has a power. Has anyone besides me run games with both those?
Anyhow, I’ll flesh out the details for another Conspiracy. It’s okay if we don’t play it as the reunion game (I’ll happily play in a storyteller0910 game); I can run it later.
Does anyone have experience with a game this big? I wonder if four-faction Conspiracy might be just the way to cope with this many players.
The Cult of Sekham (Blaster Master’s game) had something like 35 players. I’ve been involved in one other here with that sort of number, and a large % of players had powers. I remember that as I wound up building the power interaction table, grouping powers by effect and then ordering the groups. (Redirection powers applied first and protections before kills are the ones I definitely recall.)
Honestly, I don’t see any problem with this many players from a game design standpoint unless you want to build a crazy complicated game.
