Old-School Nickelodeon Appreciation Thread

I wanted to be Alex Mack for quite a while in junior high.

Loved Hey Dude! and Salute Your Shorts, though I could never quite get over the fact that the red-haired boy was the same child as Sam from Diff’rent Strokes

Ren and Stimpy might have been my favorite, though.

It’s log, it’s log
It’s big it’s heavy, it’s wood
It’s log, it’s log
It’s better than bad, it’s good!

(Somewhat related story)
Back in 95’ I moved down to Orlando. Soon afterward I went with a friend from work who got invited to a house party near UCF.
We were there a while and some of the people I recognized but I didn’t know how. I asked my friend “Some of these people look so familiar like I’ve met them before. Where do I know them from?”
Then he told me that a bunch of them were actors from Nickelodeon Studios and I probably saw them on different shows. These were supporting characters all in their 20s. I was somewhat starstruck, had fun partying with them, then would watch Nick with my nieces and brag about how I knew all those guys.
