Old school OpenGL games on ATI Radeon cards

I have a Radeon 2900HD graphics card on Vista. I thought I’d load up Return to Castle Wolfenstein after watching a bunch of History Channel shows on the Wehrmacht today. Anyway, the graphics are all messed up. I can’t even get past the opening menu because there are black jagged lines all over the screen. Searching online, it seems like this is probably an ATI issue. So…

  1. Any idea what I should do?

  2. Just out of curiosity, can you folks with newer nvidia cards play older OpenGL games like RTCW or Medal of Honor: Allied Assault?

I can play MOHAA on my Nvidia 8800 Ultra.

The weird thing is, in the sky (nowhere else) I can see the joins of the ‘box’, where the top meets the front, and the back and the sides. It’s a very tiny thing though, and doesn’t hinder playing the game.

Edit. I hope they make return to return to castle wolfenstein. Or “Return to Castle Wolfenstein Again” or… you get the idea.
