Morning all. 8 full hours of sleep does wonders for one’s outlook on life, put a load of shirts in the washer first thing and will shortly head out and do some shopping. Swimming and sauna are also planned and I’ll step on the scale in the gym to see what my profligacy while on vacation did to my weight (I suspect it’s still pretty good, did a lot of walking and sweating on my travels. Also need to get the Gas company to quit sending me paper bills since I’m on automatic draft and can check my balance on-line. So in other words, a pretty normal day to get back into the routine. And staying inside–heading to 93F with little chance of rain.
Taters, not surprising that you feel melancholy, but I’m sure the kids will be back to visit once they are settled in (and you and hubs can go visit them). Flying first class in the USA is nice, but nothing compared to overseas flights…but you do get extra arm and leg room, which is nice to have.
FCM, enjoy the day out with the kiddos.
swampy, enjoy the eatin’ part of the day…after paying some airport prices this past week, sounds like a great deal.
shoe, can’t offer any advice on territory-invading mothers, good luck with the phone call. And thanks for the story, there is some reason for humanity to remain around.
JtC, good on ya for the random act of kindness. Enjoy the travels. And I agree, the sameness is all around. Myrtle Beach is a bit different, but once you get of the first two blocks nearest the water, it’s the same as most other towns.
Cat Glove, that’s the way to do it, start with a routine and build upon it. I was up to 1,000 yards before my vacation,. may cut back to 750 this week and build back up. Well see how I feel.
God Bed, food advice from doggio, shop around for the best deal. And walking is good for you…unless it’s 95F and humid, then not so much…
I call him Jack Bats, but I don’t know if that’s the consensus or not. What else is a good MMP name?
Speaking of which, Jack Bats , those are some nice pics, and love the name of the place where you abide. Take care.
suzie, glad you got some rain. Looking rather dry here in Ali-bama, may have to do some lawn watering here in a few days if it continues. And Yea! for wife’s recovery progress.
Real Fish, follow Drs. orders and we’ll keep the lights on.
rocky, best wishes to lager.
Cookie, glad you got out and did a thing, just keep working upwards from it but don’t overdo.
OK, sounds like the spin cycle is about done, so need to transfer the laundry to the dryer. Take care all and have a good Hump Day (it is Wednesday, isn’t it; travel tends to scramble up the days).
