Mpox (it’s new designation, no -onkey) is a two shot deal, like Shingrix. But read the CDC on who should get the Mpox. Pretty sure you don’t need to be concerned about Mpox.

And as for avian flu vaccine, none of us are candidates for it either, at least not yet. Finland is the only country that vaccinates for avian flu routinely and even then that is for high risk individuals only.
Are you all current on your geezer pneumonia vax’s? Sometimes the biggest, baddest, bestest one of those slips notice. Have you had the Prevnar 20? There were previous pneumonia vaccines but Prevnar 20 surpasses them and is the gold standard.
Tdap Booster (every 10 years or with injury breaking the skin barrier, especially cat claw punctures). Will protect against pertussis too, which is running rampant right now. I just got one last week to protect my new not-quite-yet-born grandbaby.
MMR-you were in the service, it would be surprising that you didn’t get one on induction. In fact you probably got everything available all over again on induction. Depending on the year that could include Hep B and chickenpox vaccines. I used to do Army vaccine clinics-the combo we gave looked like thin peanut butter. Those brave soldiers never flinched though!
RSV, also a nasty lung infection running rampant
Shingrix, two shots- but worth every bit of the effort.
The flu vaccine this year wasn’t as stellar as some years (it’s a total guess by the makers-they have to make an educated guess many months ahead of the need) but it’s still been worth it for preventing serious outcomes and especially hospitalizations. I know I nursed two people around the clock that had test confirmed flu A and my vax 6 months earlier worked for me.
Put that energy into getting hubs vaccinated…or buy a cat tree that will sleep 2 Maine Coons and Jolene.
