Van Go, good luck on Mowage Monday, I need to wait a bit since grass bag pickup is on Monday and I don’t want to try cutting it Monday morning since I don’t know when they will show up, the grass is also growing well down here for the same reasons as yours. As for why we have grass lawns, just put that into Google, lots of excus…I mean, reasons for it…

When our window guys were over, they wanted to put clouded privacy glass in our bathroom windows. I said “No” because I figured that anyone who climbed our fence to look at me in the shower deserved everything they got. The window guy looked rather disturbed at this thought.

JtC, 10 days travel should give you more than enough cushion to get out their. You could always take AMTRAK cross-country, but that actually could be more tiring than driving it. Nice scenery-watching, though. Hope the visit isn’t too nerve-wracking.

Lotsa TLC and Missy Elliott tonight. It was “Mrs. Scribs” night, when it’s all women … and I pointed out that as we’re all single - and I’m the youngest - it was basically Cougar Night.

I’ve just booked a week in/on Lake Garda in June. Have felt myself pining for Italy, although I would normally go south. Also pondering an Andalucian trip in October - Granada, Seville, maybe Cordoba. Haven’t been for decades.
