Recall Robin Williams’ old jibe about men wearing Speedos that are “so tight you can tell what religion they are…”? Oh. My. Freakin’. God! (Lenny is rather casually Jewish, BTW.)
Ahem. Lest you jaded cynics think Lenny is just another pretty pool boy/model, he won three golds in the Sydney Games, and placed fourth overall in a final the other day.
Unfortunately, according to one site, Lenny K. is engaged to be married. [sigh] Still, I hope he finds that job through Monster.com… at an office nearby!

I can’t find a decent pic but the Gold Medal winner in sabre, Mariel Zagunis was not at all what I expected. In a very good way.

Norwegian beach volleyballer Kathrine Maaseide has caught the attention of Playboy staffers. In this article, however, Maaseide claims she has no interesting in posing for Hef’s mag. I’m just waiting for the Hamm brothers to hit rock bottom so they’ll be forced to pose for Playgirl… along with the entire Romanian men’s gymnastics team. Yowza!
Ian Thorpe, wow. I’m way too old for him, but my heart does pitter-patter.
I just saw one of the most beautiful women at the games: Brenda Taylor. I was fast-forwarding through my Tivo’d recording of Saturday’s goings-on, and she was in a qualifying heat for the 400 meter hurdles. Took my breath away, she did! Just gorgeous, with the most beautiful smile.
I Googled her but only found a few photos. A couple were very unflattering. That’s not the woman I saw today. These come closer, but don’t come near matching how she looks on the TV, moving and smiling.
