kaylasdad, I swear every week someone unintentionally reminds me how old I am … Google was no help, either. Is it a bastardization of “what are you, some kind of wiseguy?” Because Google returned 10 hits for “some kind of bozo” and none of them, that I could see, proferred an origin of the phrase.
Were I RTFirefly or Geobabe, it probably would have been. I’ve never been exposed much to that particular program other than a tape or two, maybe, during a roadtrip to a dopefest (NYCFest2K2, IIRC, where at least RT and Geobabe brought along tapes).
