Can’t find the thread right now, but IIRC, they were chatting online, and he thought she sounded really, really off. He tracked down the town she lived in, and got hold of the sheriff’s office or something, and they did a welfare check. Turns out her blood sugar had spiked (or crashed?). I think she was home alone at the time.
