I don’t know much about hypnosis, but I thought you couldn’t force someone to do something that they didn’t want to do anyway. Which admittedly leaves a lot of room. Nonetheless, this principal wasn’t a professional, and he shouldn’t have been using it on students, especially after being ordered to stop. A person in power spending time alone with a student is a no-no anyway. Perhaps not true evil, but arrogant and weird nonetheless, and the fact that he served so little time (a year of probation) and got to keep his pension doesn’t sit right with me either.
That’s correct. Reading through the article, the claims that hypnosis was responsible for the car crashes seem completely frivolous.
