I’ve heard that inebriated people wake up the next morning hoping they didn’t post anything the night before. I think I’ve seen that very phenomena right on this board.

Yeah, I have asked some folks if they’d posted something while drunk, when their posts were uncharacteristically belligerent and/or incoherent. Most of the time they admit they did.
(Of course, there is also the possibility that some or all were lying and grabbed onto that as an excuse…)
As Gyrate said some posts back, it’s the most charitable explanation we have.
The juxtaposition of these two points indicates that this is still less charitable than the “Junior’s on drugs” explanation. Not that Don Jr would deliberately make his father look bad, but as we’ve seen the Trump family are not the most self-aware bunch.

Jeez… I looked up that list that Matt Krause came up with. It has books on the KKK as a terrorist organization listed, as well as A Handmaid’s Tale. Confessions of Nat Turner, and V for Vendetta on it.
Generally speaking it’s just a list of books aimed at schoolchildren that address racism, sexuality, or LGBTQ issues, or books that mention those things, as if the very mention of racism or homosexuality is an issue.
