Conservatives Are Pissed at Chick-fil-A's 'Woke' Sandwich
The conservative chicken chain has angered its base. And all it took was adding a cruciferous vegetable to the menu.
Historically, wouldn’t the right ‘to bear arms’ include edged weapons? Thinking man-at-arms. So since Alito goes back to the 13th century for abortion law, I would think laws restricting my right to carry the edged weapon of my choice must fall, also (and possibly bashing weapons like maces, also).
Don’t try to bring “logic” into a legal discussion!
Thank you for that. I looked for it last night and couldn’t find it.
New conspiracy theory: The Chinese balloons are full of viruses and we’re doing them a favor by shooting them down and releasing their toxins into the air.
But, but, but, what if the viruses in the balloons cause people to turn into superheroes when we shoot them down? That’s the wildcard in the whole discussion.
You’re such a joker.
That would be aces!
The right wing is outraged that Chic-fil-a has cauliflower sandwiches.

Here was a whole mob of stupid motherfuckers. Stupid and full of hate, all on account of their oh-so-loving religion. Note: it is not my intent to single out this particular religion, although this sort of thing seems more frequent within it; I have similar contempt for all religions.
A mob in eastern Pakistan stormed a police station on Saturday and lynched a man under custody and accused of blasphemy, police said, in the latest incident of religion-linked violence in the Islamic republic.

Edit: As did Czarcasm and Andy_L.
I’m going to just speculatively trademark the snarl term, “Luciferous vegetable.”

Can we write that off as ‘republican in fighting’ and stay out of it? I didn’t read the article but it sounds like an obvious distraction so we (or the RW’s audience) don’t see something else. And I say this because Chick-Fil-A is a pretty right wing business so any RW politicians or RW media are aware that they’re attacking one of their own and must desperately need a smoke screen.
Not that it would have been on my radar, but I don’t recall similar outrage when Chipotle brought in Sofritas (tofu) or various frozen pizza companies coming out with almond or cauliflower based crust or Taco Bell with their Beyond Meat.
Come to think of it, I do vaguely recall them going after someone for daring to have Beyond Meat on their menu. I can’t remember who it is but I recall a very RW person I know who brought it up, as he “randomly” does with various Fox and Friends topics, that I don’t get why he’s mad about it, no one is forcing him to get it and they didn’t replace any normal menu items with it so he can still get whatever he normally gets.
Let’s not fall victim to “people are saying”, here. Sure, there is some number of people who are protesting Chic-Fil-A over their cauliflower, and those people, whoever they are, are idiots, but it’s probably a very small number of insignificant people.

Aware? You’re just being funny, now, amirite? On the offchance you’re serious, then I’d say the reason for the attack is “turncoat”!

That was Burger King, IIRC. I wonder what the Tighty Righties will do when they find out Burger King is a Canadian company?
I thought the big stink was over Cracker Barrel.
That was another one too, yes. The controversy was basically identical to this Chick-Fil-A issue in almost every way.
Shrimp chips are addictively good. I have been known to start eating a bag and not realize how much I’ve eaten until it’s empty.
Gawd, I love these. And my closest market stopped carrying them. Bastards!!!
Canadians just love royalty, don’t they?
Chick-Fil-A is a pretty right wing business
Curiously, they do not seem to have wings on the menu.
