Omnibus Stupid MFers in the news thread (Part 1)

If all my friends went and jumped off a bridge, and I just watched, I would be alone and without any friends. Did you ever consider that? You need to work on improving your hypotheticals, Mom.

I heard on the news that Larry Nassar was stabbed six times by a fellow prisoner, during an “altercation”. But he’s still alive. What a pity.

If you’re about to do something and people grab their phones to film you, maybe don’t do that thing.

As Bart so aptly put it, when Marge asked him about this very scenario:

Millhouse? Bridge? I’m THERE!

(runs out of house, slamming screen door)

I don’t think we have a ‘Stupid things Trump has said today’ thread. Since Trump is a stupid motherhumper, I’ll post this here.

‘A state that is disgraceful’: Trump trashes swing state he has to win in 2024

“I think I won the last time. I think I won both times, by a lot,” he said…

“We had a lawsuit that was so good and the judge didn’t want to see it. He didn’t even want to see it.

How stupid can you get? ‘It was so good, the judge didn’t even want to see it.’ A non-stupid person would understand that the judge threw it out because it was without merit.

I think it was at least 10 times – 6 in the chest, 2 in the back, and 2 (or more?) in the neck. The swift action by the guards was responsible for getting him medical help, so that he is in stable condition.

Let’s hear it for the guards.

We basically do, just for future reference.

I thought about that one, but it’s not really angry-making. It’s just sheer stupidity.

Fair enough.

Him being so stupid and having so many that venerate him pisses me off. A lot of other people too. The thread is dominated by “stupid shit Trump did/said”.

Much as it pains me to defend the man, he’s not saying the judge didn’t want to see it because it was so good. He’s implying that it’s outrageous that the judge didn’t want to see his “so good” lawsuit. He’s wrong, of course, because the judge did see the lawsuit and determined that it was so fallacious that he could throw it out entirely.

A Georgia mayor fucked around, nearly found out.

(Got caught in someone else’s house by the homeowner, played the “Do you know who I am?” card.)

Ah. ‘And’, vs. ‘that’.

Look, I’m not saying they’re right, but I understand.

Keep the mayor in your thoughts and prayers? Well they can fuck right off.

So, not that we’re likely to find out, but I’m curious what actually happened here. I see two possibilities. He legitimately thought it was abandoned*and was just poking around without any bad intent beyond entering it There’s a bazillion youtube channels doing exactly that same thing. Or, he’s up to something he shouldn’t be. Stealing and pawning the furniture? Using it as a hideout for an addiction or affair and this is just the first time he got caught?
I feel we can dismiss that possibility that he wanted to buy it. The other thing that bugged me was that way he referred to himself as righteous. Surely he knows he’s in the wrong. It’s odd that he pushed his defense right past ‘um, well, I wasn’t doing anything’ and clear into ‘You should be thanking me’ territory.

Also, I just noticed it happened at 7am…Maybe he’s sleeping there.

*I’m using ‘abandoned’ loosely enough to include ‘clearly no one lives here and I doubt I’ll get caught’

It is interesting that apparently he said to wait and see what “his police” did, but in the past he had accused them of corruption. I’m thinking they didn’t feel too conflicted about arresting him:

kamau took office in January 2022. Within his first few days, he called for the resignation of the city manager, the city attorney and the clerk, claiming he wanted direction for South Fulton. None of those leaders resigned. Subsequently, the city council passed a resolution that month to publicly denounce the mayor’s actions.

By summer, kamau accused the police department of corruption. In response, the city council issued a declaration accusing the mayor of misinformation.

The city council ultimately passed a unanimous vote of “no confidence” in kamau. The resolution stated the vote would be a move to obtain legal counsel separate from the mayor and “to legally address misleading allegations … harmful to the good order” of South Fulton.

(Apparently he insists on spelling his name with all lowercase letters.)

Do we have to keep doing this? The man was attacked and almost murdered. You do agree that murder is illegal, right? And the reason for the attack? No answer yet other than “happened during an altercation”.

I see your point. Now let me ask you how many times have you or your daughters(if any) been assaulted? IMNSHO, the man should be executed, not get life in prison. If this opinion of mine disappoints you, well, live with it.

I don’t know if I can muster that much hate but I certainly can’t criticize anyone who can. I still suffer the effects of childhood SA and I honestly don’t know if I’m going to ever truly heal. This man harmed an almost incomprehensible number of young women so I really don’t understand why anyone would be spending any sympathy points on him. I’m not sure he’s a “Dumb MF” so much as an “Evil MF” though.

I totally agree with Evil MF.

Yeah, he really belongs in the “Evil MF” thread.

(I have in the past observed that people are tending to just go into whatever “stupid MF” thread is closest to the top with whatever’s their beef)
