I feel like starting a thread called, I read it on twitter, explain.
Twits are up in arms because they are trying to arrest someone named Devon because hes to give damaging testimony about the Biden family. I hope thats not true.

He was Hunter Biden’s business partner and was convicted of fraud all the way back in 2018, and finally sentenced last year. But he has used various tactics to repeatedly delay going to prison.
Anything criminal in Hunter Biden’s orbit is considered part of the “Biden Crime Family” as propaganda to attempt bothsideism, showing Joe Biden is just as bad as Trump. It’s fodder for conspiracy theorists. It has zero to do with Joe Biden and it doesn’t even look like Hunter was in any way involved with Archer’s crimes.
Republicans are desperately trying to find something to pin on Joe Biden, because they sense they are going to get WALLOPED next year.

In a hilarious case of bad timing, this article praising him was posted on the day he died.
If I understand the article correctly, he took the elevator to the top and only then made it to the roof and to the top, so he didn’t even climb the building from the bottom. According to the second article (which is awfully written, like a promo piece for the guy but nothing like serious journalism, though the actor allegedly is a journalist), this was how he made his living, posting selfies on Instagram from the top of high buildings he “climbed” in elevators. What an utterly wasted existence.
Huh. I guess I didn’t read the first article closely enough–I had the impression that he was one of those guys that climbed up the outsides of skyscrapers. So his death is still stupid without the benefit of his having had athletic skill.
He was a “daredevil”. His talent was that he lacked proper risk management skills or self-preservation instincts. Those are things that keep people alive, and since he was handicapped in that area, it cost him his life.
He should have taken lessons from Phillipe Petit. I think I spelled that name correctly.
I was thinking about that. The only true difference between Petit, or Alex Honnold, and this guy, is that they are still alive. Each has done things that could have killed them, spectacularly.
Worse, much MUCH worse. Everything Trump did was necessary for the continued existence of the United States as a freedom-loving democracy. Everything (and I mean EEEEEEEEEEEverything) Biden does is criminal, evil, monstrous, demonic, and in league with the actual literal devil (or could it be Satan?).
That goes without saying, but I do believe the impetus specifically behind the “Biden Crime Family” idea is a tit-for-tat, “I know you are but what am I” sort of thing. Or simply the right wing propensity for projection; accuse someone else of what you’re doing.
I liked the movie made about Petit and the WTC. Joseph Gordon-Levitt played Petit, and looked very like him at that age. The CGI of the downward views were good enough that I felt a bit queasy, as I have a fear of heights.

An 11-year-old student, described as an A student who never got into trouble, has been kicked out of a Catholic school. Because, you see, his parents dared to disagree with the new homophobic priest who yanked books from the shelves, among other actions. Doesn’t matter that the parents are staunch volunteers at the school, or that the boys father and his 15 siblings all attended the school.
Prayerful consideration. Enough to make one throw up.
And the fact that they were/are meticulous about practicing every last detail of their stunts, taking all sorts of factors into account in preparation, and being willing to back away from something if it didn’t feel right. That, and the fact they they didn’t die yet. I suspect Petit’s days of risky activities are over but certainly Alex still takes lots of risks.
Funny how God told them exactly what them what they wanted to hear.
