That was how I felt when I worked retail, except for the “paying me really well” part. It was more, “If I don’t suck it up and do this crap for someone I can’t stand, I will be homeless.”
Though maybe that’s why people object to it. When I worked for a soulless company that was extremely scummy (and they were, they violated labor laws and probably committed fraud that I might have witnessed), I didn’t have much choice. If someone is already getting generational wealth, compromising ethics for just more of it is harder to defend.
Looking at the photo of the skywalk, I wondered why there aren’t more suicides there. Which of course would lead to a pile of bodies in one area… and disgruntled junior rangers.
So, why not have a LastDive™SkyWalk? At the bottom of it would be a deep almost-bottomless hole so no one would ever have to clean up after you.

Won’t anyone think about the California Condors? They are just coming back from almost extinction, I don’t want them eating people. Can you imagine how bad that would be on their bodies? We are full of artificial preservatives, chemicals and booze and Condors don’t weigh that much, just the mercury in an average human body would probably be enough to kill one.

Nope, you dummie. Yep, you’re a political zealot. Your goal absolutely was to overturn the election. And you tried to take our democracy from us, so you losing your 40s and, I guess, your 50s to boot is really too light of a sentence for your crime.

On the one hand, kid was stupid to eat the thing.
On the other hand, if you sell things that are intended to be consumed by human beings, and the people who eat them invariably wind up crying, drooling, vomiting and shitting themselves… it’s possible that your food product shouldn’t really be on the market. It’s also possible that when someone dies after eating it, your company is going to be sued to hell and back.
Yeah, in this case I think the stupid MF is the Paqui company. They know they’re marketing to children, and they know their product is unsafe. The word “challenge” on the package is the tipoff.
