Omnibus Stupid MFers in the news thread (Part 2)

If they’re engaged, surely it’s OK?

I have to say that’s an excellent surveillance shot if taken under actual low-light conditions. Given the lit flashlight in the center goon’s hand, it seems likely it was dark there and then.

The article says the pix have been distributed to local law enforcement who haven’t yet identified them. Suggesting they’re not known criminals with mugshots in the system. OTOH, good bet a heck of a lot of friends and neighbors know exactly who they are. This shouldn’t take long.

I wonder for what they stole 200 stuffed animals…They don’t even look drunk or stoned in the surveillance pic.

The idiomatic phrase “turning point” has been in use for nearly 500 years, we have to stop using it because the MAGAs are trying to rebrand it as their own? Fuck that.

Some friends of mine stole all the flags from a golf course. There was no reason for it. They didn’t even know what to do with them when they got back. They did it because (to them, at that time) it was funny.

Yeah, I once was young too, and although I mostly managed to be a reasonable and law-abiding person from age 15-25, I heard about and saw some crazy irrational vandalism and theft from young male adults. But what’s the purpose of hauling away 200(!) stuffed animals, in garbage bags? That must have been a feat for three guys.

ETA: ok, I just revisited the article, I forgot that they came and most probably also left by boat. Must have been a big boat, anyway.

It’s probably just really small stuffed animals. One of the pics is of them plundering what looks like a claw machine.

Means absolutely nothing to me.

The organization that Charlie Kirk fronted for is called “Turning Point USA”, I believe.

Which organization was news to me in this discussion of the 40+ year old restaurant chain. I first heard of “Charlie Kirk” himself in the thread about his killing.

Most of don’t follow the RW hate-o-sphere with any rigor. Certainly not with any enthusiasm.

Me too.

+1…..

You know Graham Platner, the charismatic young oyster farmer from Maine who’s running in the Democratic primary for a shot to unseat Susan Collins next year?

Turns out he has a totenkopf tattoo on his chest that he claims he “didn’t know the historical associations” of when he got it at the impressionable young age of (checks notes) 24.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Chin up. Maybe now he’ll get some Republican votes.

“Graham… are we the baddies?"

I mean, there’s a chance he was going for the Jolly Roger or the “Toxic Material” hazard sign, and didn’t know the difference. Hanlon’s Razor could apply.

I mean, ten years ago I wouldn’t have thought “Doesn’t have a literal SS tattoo” was too high a bar to set for potential candidates for office, but here we are.

Yeah, I saw this! So, so, SO stupid.

About that…

Anyways, his former political director said it best:

Well all right then.
