Some local high school kids here in town walked out of school to march to city hall to protest ICE.
In a local news story, a couple of people posted replies (since deleted) that literally called the kids “retards”. Yes, that’s the level you ICE supporters are at.
Happened here as well. Most of the non-supportive comments stated that the kids just wanted to get out of school for a couple of hours.
I saw a lot of that here with some of the high school walkouts. They just wanted a day off, they don’t even know what they’re protesting etc. I really wanted to reply that they’re immune to your consultations, they’re quite aware of what they’re going through.
For a more lighthearted Stupid MFer in the news, boxer Jarrell Miller had his toupee knocked off during a fight.
He’s stupid (to me, at least) to think that that amount of physical exertion, coupled with the hot lights and amount of sweat, wouldn’t have some effect on keeping his hairpiece in place.
I DO have to give him credit for the way he handled it. He took the toupee and throw it into the crowd.
That article said, “Miller said he got a hairpiece after he lost his hair two days ago, when he said he mistakenly used “ammonia bleach” instead of shampoo to wash his hair.” First of all, ammonia bleach? Second why would that have been in the shower at all?
Of course. How else are you going to make chloramine gas?
And he got fitted for a toupee in only two days?
He describes himself as a joker. I have to wonder if the whole episode, including the rug coming off, was deliberately planned as a joke.
That may be the answer.
I know I’ve used “joker” as a synonym for “stupid MF” more than once in the wild. “Hey, look at what that joker over there is doing!”
I don’t much like that meme. It makes it look as if logic is not a normal human characteristic or ability, which is not a point of view I would want to promote.
(Yes, I know Spock is half human, a half which he was trained to ignore as much as he possible could during all his logic training. And he was always contrasted with the hot-headed and concupiscent captain, and the air-head doctor.)
It is to promote that of the ‘duly’ (falsely) elected president in DC and of all his ilk, there is not a bit of logic amongst them.

There is nothing reality-based about current RW politics or the current criminal regime.

Oregon man tries to commandeers a man’s car at gunpoint claiming to be “armed militia on a mission”, opens fire on people after demanding to know if they’re US citizens, rear-ends another driver, tells the cops he can smoke more weed than Willie Nelson, then tries to steal the ambulance that shows up to treat the man he rear-ended, and has to be sedated after being arrested and taken to the hospital.
