Chimera’s Guide to Republican Trolls
Step 1: Post a stupidly false, misleading or just wildly inaccurate meme or claim.
Well now you’ve done it. You went and said something stupid and/or hurtful that wasn’t true because you didn’t care, you wanted it to be true, or you thought it would hurt other people, thus giving your pathetic life more meaning in the same way that beating your wife and kids makes you feel slightly more important and not as powerless.
A. If Liberals respond with anger, laugh, because this is the only enjoyment you’re going to get out of it. You showed your hand. You’re a pathetic low grade moron with no power who is angry at the world and you really stuck it to those people you’ve chosen to hate, right?
B. If people point out how blatantly, wildly false and easily disproven your statement is, you have three choices;
b1: “If you don’t like it, don’t read it”. Smug, stupid and to the point. You don’t admit that you’re a moron and you refuse to discuss it any further.
b2: Cite a lot of questionable sources, some of which are saying things remotely related. It doesn’t matter if the article actually says the opposite of what you’re claiming, a lot of cites makes you sound smart and well informed. Most other low grade morons won’t read any of it and you’ll win right here.
b3; GISH GALLOP! My look at the time. Here’s a story about Bill Clinton, more on Hillary’s emails and look at these 17 articles on how Obama picked his nose! Basically, this is the go-to tactic for those just bright enough to realize that their original post revealed their true depths of stupid and hope to distract the conversation away from their failure. You shoot a bunch of bullshit into the other guy’s face and hope he’s more worried about the shit on his face than the fact that you’re a dumbass.
Step 2: Turn the conversation away from your blatant idiocy and instead claim to have done this deliberately because it is fun to bait Liberals.
Well, the only real problem with this tactic is that you’re claiming not to be a dumbass by virtue of instead being a raging douchebag who takes pleasure in making other people angry. Of course, it is the perfect lead into…
Step 3: “See? It is you LIBERALS who are the real racists/haters/snowflakes! You can’t take a joke and you resort to name calling.”
It takes someone real special to claim they’re deliberately trolling and being an asshole to people just because they’ve decided to hate them, then act insulted and hurt because they’re called out on their shit.
Good show for boasting about deliberately pissing people off, then getting butt-hurt when those people decide they don’t like you. Most people learned things like that in Kindergarden.
