What is it like being banned, from the other side? Do you get a taunting dismissal pm? Does the board spew your words back at you if you attempt to post? Does it just pretend it never heard of you if you try to log in?
After all our work coming up with dude parody thread titles, he outdoes us with a Too Mundane For MPSIMS topic in the Pit.
I seriously thought someone was trying to out-dude him, until my sleep-addled brain caught the name at the top.
I think it just gives a message box with the ban notification in it and doesn’t let you log in, I think. I don’t actually know for sure, I just saw a screenshot somewhere, I think. I don’t know if some cases are different or not, though. I think, I just read it on the internet, that you have to clear the cookies and stuff before it lets you look at the forums again as well. because there is no “logout” button there. That’s just what I saw somewhere, so that person might have just missed the button, like, I’m not an expert on these matters, you see.
But what do you think happens?

Well, I for one, bought a bag-o-socks this weekend when I was at The Walmart. I really only went because I needed those cable holder things you nail into the wall so you can run a cable over a door frame but while I was there I thought what the hell might as well get some OJ, paper towels and those thingys you put on the bottom of the tub so when you take a shower you don’t slip and fall and break your ass.
I also needed a lamp but I’m not done rearranging the furniture yet so I don’t know what kind I want yet so I didn’t get one.

I, I also know nothing about being banned! Yep, I have no information about that whatsoever, and anyone who says anything else is just repeating a vicious lie.
Again, I have never been banned. And I don’t know anything about being banned, and it’s so funny that you all want to talk about how I was maybe banned, because that’s ridiculous.
But whatever. Why should I, a poster who as never been banned, care about this issue of banning? Because I don’t. Care about banning.

I think if you try to log in after being banned it should involve your screen madly flashing patterns of colored lights and whooping siren sound effects and a “Warning! Warning! Warning” loop from Lost in Space.
We don’t actually know that this isn’t what happens. I bet your hard drive starts eating itself, too, with loud crunchy noises.
