Eh, could be a legit mental case.
Either way, the person does not need help for the problem described. I hope certain of those folks responding have not recently received an e-mail from someone stranded in a jail in London who needs to be wired $10k but who promises to pay them back, with 50% interest, as soon as they return to the states.
We all got one of those a couple of years ago when my parents were in England and my foolish father used the unsecured wifi in the airport. Thankfully, no one believed it.
Yeah, I got one a couple of years ago from a friend “I am literally in tears right now, I just got robbed in $somecountry, passport and cash gone, can you send money…”
Except being in tears didn’t sound much like my buddy, who had literally spent several years working in refugee camps in East Africa and wasn’t the type to collapse in a heap over a pickpocket in some European country.
And he tries again.

Persistent at least.
Ha-ha.
Refreshing swig of hand sanitizer anyone?
Wow, and so many jump in and feed away. DNFTT
I saw the word “fetish” and reported him as a femmejean sock.
Uh, why the hell was that thread not shut down?
Not only was it NOT shut down, but a Mod saw fit to merge two threads. Seriously, WTF?
This is actually some pretty good trolling for a change.
Not having salt - forget everything else - just that, was reason enough to sign up to a message board and post a question about doing something dangerous that would be entirely avoidable by just getting some salt - and yet within minutes he got several “Just don’t do it! Call poison control!!!” responses.
I don’t think that’s a troll, it’s probably a serious question. I don’t know why everyone here is so quick to call out others as “trolls”, just because they’re asking a peculiar question.
Also, “fetish” is a pretty widely-used word. Just because he used that word does not mean he is a femmejean sock. Although it does seem to be a bit similar with the strange sexual fetishes and the ingestion of poisons, but that is probably just a coincidence.
Hey. No trolling in the Trolls R Us thread. You’re still marginally entertaining enough to keep around a while.
This way banning lies.
Well, I have finally found a place where lots of users are were sharing SDMB ban messages. I mean, it’s just a standard vBulletin message with no real change, but this is the real thing (supposedly, I’ve never seen it in real life before), which is always more exciting than a lookalike.

Better, more bannings here: Straight Dope Forums. - The Brits are a joke - Everyone's invited
See, there are lots of banning screenshots! You just have to look around for them…
OK, so he complains that he’s launched at least ten sock accounts and can’t seem to understand why they keep getting banned? Yeah, that’s going to go well.
Look, it is pretty apparent that you are a troll, but kind of fun troll, not an angry, screamy troll, so people mostly don’t mind. But when you keep going out of the way to “wink, wink, nudge, nudge” about how you are actually a banned poster who has returned, you really are starting to taunt happy fun ball.
Huh? How am I doing that? I was just providing those screenshots as a reference to how I knew what the mostly generic vBulletin ban message on here looks like. So that is the exact opposite of what I’m doing. Plus, I don’t think my posting style really matches any of those posts that I linked there. In fact, I don’t actually match really *any *of the banned posters at all on SDMB.
I’m actually not a troll at all, though. Almost all of my posts are genuine, and that last post about the aircraft carrier vs. tank actually yielded some helpful information, even though it was locked early.
Wow. Apparently trolling is just a thing people do. Like, in lieu of a normal hobby. Bizarre.
Admission of trolling, FTW.
Very sad, pathetic people.
