Not this again. Merneith posted an angry rant against right-wing bigots after jumping to conclusions that one of them was responsible for setting off a bomb in a women’s restroom at Target. Turns out it wasn’t right-wingers, wasn’t a bomb, and had nothing to do with her sincere wish that this was a political attack against transgendered people.
That’s fodder for ridicule and criticism. Does it make you uncomfortable that the same thing happened to three white lacrosse players at Duke, who were publicly excoriated by a segment of the media that was eager to jump to conclusions to fit their narrative of white privilege exploiting minority strippers?
Merneith is the asshole in that situation. Plain and simple. It’s nice that she “apologized” (by deflecting criticism and saying that right-wingers are still evil whiny bitches). If you cite this episode as evidence that I’m the asshole then you are intellectually dishonest and unfit to cast judgement on anyone.

And all I did was suggest that ckalli1998 signed up yet again under another alias related to North Jersey. I highly doubt he could actually be found at that address.
You didn’t get a warning for saying you didn’t believe someone. You got a mod note. It’s not on your permanent record. 
Looks like the offending stuff about personal info was edited out, so I can’t tell whether the warning from Miller for that was valid or not. But open an thread in ATMB, and I’ll be happy to participate.

Since the guy’s email address is in his profile and is in no way connected to that company, I seriously doubted that I was doxing anyone connected to this board. I simply looked up the business address shown, looked at that address in google maps and saw it was some shitty little house and thought it amusing.
But I’ll take my lumps, it was a stupid thing to do regardless.
But I’m still seriously fucking annoyed at getting a mod note about expressing my disbelief in the Elections forum. You can flat out say that something isn’t true, and I did not in any way say “You are lying”. I merely said that after all he had posted on the subject of the Clintons and the Democrats, I could not believe his claim that he had voted for Obama twice and for Hillary in this last election.
Perhaps I should test this modding by posting some extremely absurd claims in Great Debates or Elections and wait for people to disbelieve it.
