Abashed has already demonstrated – in a remarkably short time – that he is a total ignoramus with zero understanding of science, no knowledge of math, a propensity for trolling, and an inclination to hostile snark when someone tries to explain things to him. So if I’d had to guess ahead of time what his political leanings would be, I think I would have guessed they would be the kind that likes phrases like “the liberal elite” and “liberal left political correctness brigade”. Yeah, I think “ignorant right-wing redneck” sums it up nicely. No surprise there.
Bricker’s not a troll. He’s a thinking man’s conservative, which is rare these days. Not every seemingly ‘out there’ question is a troll job. I saw the Gettysburg question as an extension of the other threads that were popping up in response to monuments. Sorry, but you can’t just benefit from the man’s genius in some threads and call him a troll without solid evidence in others just because he challenges you and posts questions or opinions you don’t like.
Funny because there are already articles online addressing this same issue. Are we suggesting that he sent press releases out to the media to troll them, too?
Oy. I said that most of the time I like him. I especially like the legal expertise he brings to this MB. But that thread? Puh-lease. There was nothing challenging about it, and most people saw right through the “gotcha” premise. If you think that was genius, you have a very low bar for that attribute.
