Mea culpa. I didn’t realize I was responding to a thread started by one of our most prolific trolls. Fortunately, I caught it before the 5 minute edit window was up.
It is okay–all you need to do is plasticise the brains of black people, cut them into very thin slices, map them out under an electron microscope, then upload their consciousnesses into supercomputers that have no simulated guns and unlimited simulated fried chicken. It is all theoretically possible and inevitable to happen.

He started out fairly ordinary, with sensible posts on many topics, Albeit with a penchant for advocating self-replicating machinery as the solution to most human problems. He seemed to me to be the typical techno-idealist with the typical 20 yo’s (lack of) insight into human nature and human society.
Now he’s … evolved … to other topics and attitudes.
Perhaps now he’s feeling at home and is switching off his in-public behavior filters that most decent people have to some degree.
I don’t mind exploring transhumanism. I think it’s an interesting topic. But yeah, his views are a bit odd, which is actually fine, because none of us can tell how, when or if, such transhumanism will come about, but he is very insistent that his views are the right and proper ones on a subject that has virtually no actual basic science done to support it.
