Quite a lot of us “lefties” agreed with the basic premise that the professor discussed in that thread was solidly in the wrong. I’m not disputing the moderation, but it was hardly a massive partisan pile-on by all involved.
I guess it’s a good thing that I never said everyone was involved then, but the moderation came in post 19, aimed at 6 different posts. I’d call that a pile-on, in MPSIMS. YMMV.

Since the issue being moderated was hijacks and threadshitting, not directed “persecution” of the OP, I wouldn’t in fact call it a pile-on and certainly not an example of board bias. But YMMV as well.

Perhaps people could just stop arguing with it and it will go away? It doesn’t even read its own cites, and then argues about what they say. I don’t understand the satisfaction to be gained in defending someone against something they’ve admitted doing. It’s truly bizarre behavior.
