Sure, I thought there was some artistic license taken wrt to the romance between Andrew McCarthy (was that him?) and the Egyptian woman, but the space aliens were totally verified as historical fact!
When I reported that, I noted I thought it looked like a spam precursor. Because I hadn’t looked at the join date. :smack: I swear, it looked just like the “English as a third or fourth language” bizarrely off-topic vague and generic one-sentence crap spammers edit later to add a spam link. From a 13-year-long registered user. 
I have become convinced that people set up a handful of sock accounts at a time. Years can go by before they decide to use one. For all I know, they hand them out to their buddies.

AH, right. But Less Than Zero was several years before Stargate, so he was pretty evil already. Does he only do evil guys now? The only thing I’m aware of him doing lately is the TV show The Blacklist.

I love James Spader in The Blacklist. He is unbelievably good doing that role. It’s a fairly mediocre show otherwise.
Spader in Boston Legal, he was funny. I loved that show.

If a troll really is patient enough to set up an account but wait years to use it, I say they should be allowed to post about and around for a few days just to reward them for that patience. Then get kicked out.
Maybe a grace period of 1 day of posting per 1 year spent waiting for sleeper-activation orders.
It’s all bunk of course, but there’s a delicious irony in a guy posting all about the low IQ of Those People while he can’t form a coherent grammatical sentence himself.
I imagine them in a home (basement) office with buzzers and reminders going off, a big calendar on the wall, pens in hand, red circles around dates, people running from keyboard to keyboard… “Thursday? Oh shit. We need to log in Truthteller1234 stat! Could someone call Bob and see if he can cover for Suzanne tonight? We’re really short handed and there’s so much to do.”
But the sad truth is it’s just a couple of mentally ill people that account for about 90% of all our trolls/socks.
