Yeah, I honestly expected a socking situation before I read the ATMB thread–that maybe he’d made a sock to hide out and talk without the baggage. Then when I saw it was a legal threat, I thought at least it would be something that would make sense.
Instead, the “logic” goes from: “you’re too inexperienced to judge shows.” -> “I have a cousin who auditioned for a TV show once but lost” -> “How dare you insult my cousin (when no one had)!” -> “I’m gonna sue you!”
Assuming she was right wing was, yes. Especially when the post specifically cites how she’s not right-wing. But the rest is pretty accurate.
She was very much defending adaher’s statements. The reason she supported adaher was that he said something bad about the Clintons, ignoring everything else. That is indeed partisan.
And adaher was indeed trolling in that instance. There is no way he legitimately thought that this was an impeachable offense. He said what he said to rile people up.
She did not at all defend his statements, and made it abundantly clear she wasn’t. Your contacts need a new wash.

I have trouble picking a single favorite dougie quote, but the Luann (comic) thread was rife with them. Suggestions of sex and lesbianism (:eek:) in the strip were met with assurances from him that the writer would never stoop so low. Yet dougie had no problem fetishizing certain characters, in his old-timey way.
I think I’ll miss his quoting of Archie comics most of all.
