Yes, sometimes this thread diverges from its stated intent. Fortunately, we have plenty of thread cops here to keep us in line.
Now I’m thoroughly confused. I declare defeat.
Most recently, it was this guy. He got pretty tedious in that thread, though. He has not posted at all since that thread was locked. I suspect he is lying in the mud waiting for the perfect moment to emerge and strike. Probably two or three years hence.
I don’t want to wade through that thread again, but is he the one who thought the planes should have hit the building, immediately stopped, and then just should have fallen straight down to the ground?

So wait, he honestly thought the people in the buildings would see the plane just completely pancake against the windows and drop to the ground? :eek:
I think it was supposed to be the shock wave from hitting the building would disintegrate the plane in mid-air, and the pieces should have just dropped right down to the ground underneath the point of impact. That’s how you know it wasn’t a real plane.

That whole topic is something that seriously sets off my sister, who is a city building inspections supervisor and sits on the state building standards committee. (Not NY)
What’s amazing about all this is how they got the Airlines to settle with the victims of 9/11 who really were never on the plane. Didn’t anyone bother to tell the insurance companies there were no victims?
