You misunderstand the nature of the criticism. I have no problem with philosophy and abstract intellectual inquiry. We once had an interesting and productive discussion about the role of philosophy in science, for example. The problem with posts like the Machinaforce ramblings about the nature of “truth” is that they’re fundamentally without substance or insight, and hence rather pointless. That’s what I was ridiculing, and it has nothing to do with Asperger’s.
Luciano700’s obsession with sorting people and ideas into categories is typical of OCD, which I understand overlaps with Aspergers’ to some degree. If he’s a teenager and just starting to grapple with sexual issues (which include his perception of masculinity), that’s going to be reflected in his desire to sort and classify everything into clearly delineated categories. This is how he’s trying to make sense of the world. Everything has to be arranged just so. It’s a trait that has led to some great achievements (Howard Hughes) but can also have a terrible downside (also Howard Hughes).

I don’t think he is an obvious troll. I think he probably doesn’t even understand what he’s doing, which is trolling, in a way.
I don’t believe we can sort him out. It’s gonna take some one dedicated to his learning, and time, lots and lots of time! Nobody here is gonna do that.
I stopped paying attention to Luciano700’s threads because the manchild can’t focus on anything long enough to have an adult conversation or answer questions. He just changes the subject with every post.

Yeah, pretty much. Whether he’s legit or not, his (many) threads feel mostly like a waste of time. Most of them seem like him making multiple posts in a row, and everyone else trying to pin down wtf he’s talking about.
He’s had a thread closed for too many bumps, too.

I wouldn’t out him as a troll just yet. He joined in Dec 2017 and it was a long list. It took him some time to compile it so I feel like he really must have put some thought into it.
