There’s a loophole in the finger wagger’s contract. It stipulates that a deputy must monitor and respond to no less than 95% of the wrongdoing in any messages within their purview. As long as he fits the general snark thread into the 5% that he’s allowed to skip due to moral objections or having to pee he’s on solid ground.

Well, “the board” (ie, the board ownership and management) likely wants to stay completely out of such things, and I certainly wouldn’t blame them, but this is where I wonder if it isn’t time to pass on a link to his answers to my very specific moral questions to his local authorities.
“Is it wrong to strangle your friend’s children in their cribs?”
“It’s only wrong because other people say it’s wrong”.
Is goddamned scary. I hope to God that his family and friends know how dangerous he is, before he decides that grandma is old and has some nice stuff… Or his friends were a lot more fun before they had that baby.
After two mod notes, and every single person who has read that thread disagreeing with you, is there any point at which you are prepared to reconsider that perhaps it wasn’t me being the asshole there, or are you planning to just continue doubling down? The first thing I do when I get an unexpected reaction is to reread my posts carefully to check if I was unintentionally rude or abrasive, and to apologize if I was. On this occasion I was not. Your reaction was quite bizarre.
As I said in the thread, I suggest you reread tomorrow with fresh eyes and reconsider whether you reaction was appropriate, if you don’t want to get a reputation as an unbalanced psychopath.
