Oh I’m not disagreeing. I find it interesting that people don’t treat him like MantraPhilter. A lot of people treat him like a not-a-kook, because the kookery (it is a word now) isn’t as obvious for economics (for most people) than it is for science. I.e. people will keep trying to explain basic stuff to him instead of giving up and saying, look this guy isn’t going to get it because he doesn’t want to get it. He’s a MantraPhilter, and it is as productive as trying to explain basic science to him/

It’s amazing that we are so stupid and things are so easy. Why does this keep happening to us?
Well, he does make an excellent case, pointing out that walls work real good, citing as examples castles, forts, and other innovations so essential to international order and security in the modern world. He wraps up his flawless argument by citing as his model for border security one of the most advanced technological innovations ever, the Great Wall of China. Apparently it worked real good keeping the Qin dynasty (221–206 BC) free of Mexicans, yet Democrats just can’t see it.

I was struck by a post by Bone today.
This seems to happen a lot around certain individuals. Weird, right? It’s almost as if they’re doing something to provoke it. Man, I wish there was a word for that. Like, a term common in internet parlance used to describe people who intentionally post in such a way as to provoke angry responses from others. Ah well, maybe someday someone will come up with an appropriate term for this.

Jesus fucking christ, he couldn’t be more blatant if he started ending each post with “u mad bro?” If the mods can’t figure out what’s going on based on that thread, we need new mods. That’s just a fundamental failure on their part.
Yeah, doorhinge remains Obvious Troll. But he also remains a useful counterpoint to the assertion that right-wing posters get banned at the drop of a hat, when he’s been tolerated for so long. I can’t remember the last time he posted anything that wasn’t trolling in some form.
I was also amused by Shodan’s blatant bait in the Huey Freeman ATMB thread, inviting people to call him an asshole, but the mods just let the whole thread slide until JC shut it down due to pointlessness.
