I cannot tell you the number of times I ended up cutting and pasting a link from StormFront. Purely accidental, I assure you. Just doing research for a paper was all. People get all bent out of shape but it’s no big deal; WWII is over.
And his corrected link is barely any more relevant than the Russian one about some unrelated American actress. It doesn’t really say anything much, but once all the details emerged around the Weinstein situation years later, it turns out that Anita Dunn’s so-called “work[ing] to keep rapist Harvey Weinstein clean” consisted in its totality of the following phone conversation:
Weinstein: Listen, Anita, a lot of bad things are being said about me and I need your PR firm’s help.
Dunn: Fuck off, pervert. I never want to talk to you again.
But let us not be too hasty in accusing Comrade Manwich of being a Russian troll. All we know for sure is that he is troll who spends much time ogling Americanski actresses on Russian websites.

You have to like its optimism. I feel so much better learning that the pandemic will be over and forgotten by November this year.

With the mod saying that they understood, I’m not sure why they’re still able to post here. They don’t even have an explanation for why they suddenly know Russian.
And suddenly seemed to have a lapse in speaking English–that’s actually what I noticed first.
Last I checked, there is nothing in the user agreement that says that you are required to not know Russian. And QS’s profile lists that he/she lives in Japan–which is right next door to Russia.
Slightly adjacent to topic: folks often talk about “the usual suspects” here, usually meaning right-wing posters and/or suspected trolls.
When I think of that term I think of the posters who just cannot resist feeding the most obvious troll, even to the point of posting this:
If there’s no value in replying, how about NOT replying? How about NOT giving attention where it is not due.
So the usual suspects, to me, is a bunch of morons who can’t resist trying to have the last word.

I don’t want to name the one-and-done poster in question and the thread has been cornfielded but I have to admit a certain amount of amusement at the person who popped into ATMB to present an incoherent screed announcing that he had been paid to put a curse on one of the mods (and his “progency”) in the name of “justice for Shodan”. I didn’t see how that ended but I assume the mod in question hasn’t spontaneously combusted or started suddenly losing weight or anything over the weekend.
Wow, that’s both funny and scary. And appalling, demanding “justice” for such a triviality during this particular political-cultural episode.
I know, I was getting ready to loot the Marketplace!
Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed.
