Eh, I don’t think it speaks particularly well for Shodan that his “fan base” interprets “arguing for his reinstatement” as “claiming to have been paid to put a curse on a moderator and their family”.
If in some hardly conceivable fashion Shodan did in fact pay the fan to enact the cursing, that of course speaks even less well for him.
Being Shodan’s admirers, I assume they provided their services at “cost”.

I haven’t thought of poor Shodan in these troubled times. There are so many threads he could post, “Only black lives matter,” and the like in these days. He loved dropping that particular turd in the punch bowl more than anything.
Well, the curse must have worked–Bricker is JAQing for Shodan in ATMB.
And he’s 0-2 on his ATMB threads, in one case for rehashing things already well-hashed and in the other for being excessively coy about his question. I’m sure he’ll be back soon with another purely academic enquiry.
But on the bright side, he can use all the thread closures to claim he’s being persecuted. Again.
Yeah, I guess not posting here means that he has lost the knack for his bullshit tactics. He couldn’t be more transparent that he (1) learned about Shodan’s banning from elsewhere (as he hadn’t read the thread) and (2) was not remotely interested in stopping the misogyny of the post in question, but was deliberately putting his thumb on the scales (by not reporting it) to push his agenda.
The only thing I wonder is where Shodan is going to try and drum up support to get people over here to defend him. And why he suddenly cares now. Trolling by proxy is still trolling.
