Okay, first of all, how does it come about that you have any recollection of what went on in ancient Rome?

Quite a remarkable ouevre of thread starts so far from the dude. Just to cite a few:

- how long is it safe to do something unsafe without sleep?
- something about free-floating blood
- something about electricity blowing off you limbs

The questions also raise endless combinatorial possibilities: Is it cool to drive a Cadillac that you’ve spilled glue on while wearing a brown winter jacket if you haven’t had enough sleep? Is it safe? What if you’ve just had your limbs blown off by an electric shock and you have a head cold? Can you still drive the Cadillac? What if you bought it illegally?
As any philosopher would attest, these are surely questions.

If dude_roberts is a dictionary definition troll he’s created a pretty good persona for it. He reads like an overly imaginative and precocious child who doesn’t like his hypotheticals refuted and will just keep coming up with ridiculous further arguments to cling to the idea that it wasn’t a stupid question to start with.
I mean, one minute he’s asking how drug dealers stay in business, which was slightly weird and not well thought through, but not completely unreasonable, and next he’s positing that they should all have been put out of business a long time ago by Bond villains with private freight ships and helicopters …

He certainly reads as something. One of the very few times I want to ask personal questions, how old, grade appropriate, etc. The stream of ideas in that thread was just weird. Could a child of the right age to think in that manner, have any sort of vocabulary?
