I can already see the rolleyes from those who are thinking “How unusual, ANOTHER Bush bashing thread.”
Well roll your eyes all you want, the idiot is gone and so goes the worst.President.ever.
This asshole moron squandered our surplus, squandered our goodwill, squandered American lives.
He let New Orleans suffer, let Wall Street fat cats run amuck, divided our country and ruined our prosperity.
He lied to us, trashed our values, and broke the law.
Fuck off forever Former President Bush (unless you get dragged into World Court), you single-helix primate!!

One last time?
Hardly.
I concur.
His name will be cursed for generations, by Liberals and conservatives alike.
This Modern World has run severak Bush Farewell strips. I especially liked this one…
100 years from now…
… dissolve into blurry “time travel” mode…
“Geez, the new guy at work turned out to be a complete Bush.”
"Ya? How so?
“He made a mistake that cost us a $4 million contract, and then erased the sprocket drives by accident”
“Ha! That’s totally Bush!”

I doubt this will even be the last time he’s pitted on the SDMB.

For me it is. I wash my hands of W once and for all.
Stolen shamelessly from another board: Somewhere in Texas, a village is about to find it’s idiot.
Also, the fantastic Leonard Pitts bid Bush an excellent farewell in this column. The best bit, IMO:
Yes, I’m stepping out on a limb here. The future is, by definition, unknowable. But it is simply inconceivable to me that history will judge you anything but harshly. Frankly, I think it will judge us all that way, will marvel at the things we let you get away with, the principles Americans can betray, when they are scared.
As with the internment of the Japanese during World War II, and the McCarthy excesses of the 1950s, I think fear will be the defining statement of this era. Fear, and the terrible things we did, condoned and became as a result.
Godspeed, then, Mr. Bush. Good health and long life. I hope you live to hear history itself tell you what an awful president you were.
Face it, you guys are gonna miss Dubya. Who are you going to blame the ills of the world on now?
(bolding mine) Please tell me this was intentional. I probably won’t believe you, but please tell me anyway.

Don’t forget the phrase “bush league” has been around for many years.
There will still be Hannity and O’Reilly and Limbaugh to make up stupid stories about Obama being a drug dealer/rapist/murderer, just as during the Clinton Administration. Get ready for the Long Sulk.

Yeah, I have to add a “Fuck W”, but I also have to give a massive rolleyes to all the paranoid freaks who swore that this day would never come, because, of course, W would declare martial law and make himself President For Life.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Hear, hear.
I, for one, welcome our new Obaman overlords…
I often wonder why believers feel that simply because something is unknown - or unknowable - that that is a reason to believe in a particular fairy tale.
Similarly, I have no expectation that the world will ever be a perfect place. I’m not terribly interested in simply placing blame. However, I can hope that my president will choose not to needlessly invade sovereign states, and will not consistently advocate policies that impress me as having little aim other than further enriching the most well off - at substantial predictable cost to the less well off and the environment.
Until I find somebody better, I’m going to blame you.
