I’ve never cared for any first-person shooters that weren’t made by Valve.
I don’t really like (but don’t hate) most Judd apatow movies, but LOVE the Forty Year Old Virgin.
I loathe Jim Carey’s comedies and love his serious or semi-serious movies. The Truman Show is my second-favourite film and he’s brilliant in Eternal Sunshine.
I’m yet another to dislike country but love Johnny Cash and most Dolly Parton.
I dislike both hip-hop and R&B, but Ms Dynamite is fun to listen to. Wikipedia just told me she’s the eldest of 11 siblings!
Not wild about the rash of vampire and zombie shows, but I could watch any episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not the movie, though.
Not even Doom back in the day? Goldeneye?
Not a gamer, no first person shooters, no rpg, no Civilization, Second Life or Sims. The only games I like are puzzle-types.
EXCEPT…Blizzard’s "Diablo", all of them since the first, and WoW. Got thoroughly sucked in to a life-stopping degree with every one, for many weeks, and If my life depended it I could not explain it.
Really…with every one of them I reached a point where I barely slept or functioned at all, played til blurry-eyed, sleep 4 or 5 hours, wake, start again and put in another 16-18 hours. Blizzard got me in my 30s, 40s and 50s.
The only other game that came close was a precursor BBS-based TEXT version of the same thing called Arena.
And I have sampled lots of other similar games with similar elements. Nothing. Not the slightest bit of interest in any of them.
So weird.
I don’t like downbeat electronica, nor even the acoustic slow songs by said artists, even though acoustic slow songs are usually the same regardless of genre. I guess electronica artists are not so great at acoustic guitar and piano 
But I like My Brother’s Blood Machine by The Prize Fighter Inferno, a side project by Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria. It’s mostly slow or at least not-fast songs, and is a mixture of guitar and electronica. Its slow songs are even reminiscent of the slow acoustic songs an electronica artist would make. And I like nearly all the songs, the fast, medium, and slow ones.
Oh, man, I wish there was a Like button because this post!
And I agree with control-z about not liking Westerns, but loving the remake of True Grit. I have to stop and watch it if I see it.
I also don’t care for raunchy comedies or chick flicks, but **Bride’s Maids **was both and it’s another must-watch-if-it’s-on movie.
