Coulda been here. ;j
And here is an excessively cute animated flash video using the song.
Somewhere out in the Internet World, someone is beating off furiously to that video. But it certainly is not me!
I just watched that video 4 times in a row in various incarnations. The last three times I watched it just for the music. Does that make me weird?
well I thorougly enjoyed it.
what … what are you lookin at ???
BTW i went around singing Bananaphone for weeks. I’ts a wonder the kids didn’t put me in the loony bin.
That’s one heck of a good song. No clue whatsoever what it’s about by I want it.
**I need it. **
Precious…
Seems it’s not only incomprehensible, but addictive. Anyone know what it’s called, and who it’s by? I’m tempted to see if I can find it for sale as a CD single on Amazon or something.
Okay, a moment’s googling turns up that it’s actually called maiyahi, and that’s not just a made-up word (which I’d originally assumed, what with the ‘hoo’ and ‘haha’ bits in the chorus). No word on who sings it though.
So sad. Can anyone shed further light?
Oh, for a post-removal tool! I have the answers I sought.
For those in love with this song, here’s a music clip - for the record, the song is called:
Dragostea Din Tei by O-Zone.
and there’s a page right here translating the lyrics from Romanian.
Damn, I like that music.
Should I be worried?
Don’t be worried; I thought that music was quite catchy as well.
Those three boys in Ozone are soooo sweet!
You really think I was the only one?
If you’re interested, there are several mixes of the song on the iTunes Music Store. Just do a search for “Dragostea.” (I’d provide a direct link, but the store is being uncooperative this morning.)
I actually bought that song on iTunes a couple of weeks ago. I love it!
Of course, I hear the chorus (with dance motions) as
Mario Three (Wave three fingers through the air)
Mario Two (Wave two fingers through the air)
Mario Cart (Make driving motions)
Mario PARTY! (Hands at full extension, wave them like you just don’t care)
That guy must have seen too many Mikey Teutul ads on the Discovery Channel.
That was like taking 300 hits of acid and washing them down with a bottle of MD 20/20.
The oddest part is that the movie changes. The latest version has Karen Carpenter-previous versions have Richard Nixon. I know I haven’t had that much blackberry brandy.
Remember, kids: Just Say “No” to Drugs
I’d like to thank Priam for this link. I bought this song on iTunes, and it made it straight onto a driving music compilation. Something about it is just so addictively happy!
Why yes. Yes, that would be it then.
