OP being identified in the list of thread titles

Is this new? And if it’s not, I seem to have accidentally turned it on on my phone and would like some guidance in turning it off.

Note: I’m talking exclusively about the feature as it manifests on my iPhone. I’m perfectly okay with the fact that it’s been a thing on my laptop for as long as I can remember. On the much smaller screen of my iPhone, it plays merry hell with how many topics can appear, especially when I’m holding the phone vertically.

ETA: I just now noticed that in addition to identifying the OP, it displays when the thread was created. That’s probably a source of what I’m perceiving as clutter.

Which theme are you using?

Discourse Classic is not doing this.

To determine or change Theme:

  • Click on your Avatar next to the Menu. (Upper Right Corner)
  • Select Profile (The last symbol on the right)
  • Select Preferences again :gear: (The gear symbol)
  • Click on Interface. (Should be the second to last choice.)
