Open-Minded Liberals Hold Hate Fest

Yes, the liberals. Leaders of compassion and understanding. But what else can you expect from the people that supoorted Stalin, Pol Pot, and the Viet Con.

Well, the OP is a little over the top, to say the least, but that does seem to be a real invitation. Sheesh. Why don’t you just call the White House and deliver several million votes directly to George? Most people, even Dems, hate shrill Hollywood liberals.

right, hydro…these are the exact same people who supported Stalin.

Evil monkeys from the 23rd century must have resurrected all these long-dead liberals to further their plot to take over the world.

Isn’t it even remotely possible that someone who rejects one standpoint (i.e. our so-called “right” to go into Viet Nam) doesn’t necessarily support the opposite political view?

Oh yeah–I forgot. The entire world is divided cleanly into black and white. Is it the the same black and white division that keeps people who are compassionate and understanding from supporting a war-mongering usurper–er, our Glorious Leader Who Was Given Unto Us by God? Or are those who don’t blindly follow our leader into whatever he pushes us into traitorous and weak?
Somehow you seem to have gotten the idea that “compassion” and “understanding” translates into some kind of warm, fuzzy unconditional love for everybody. Wake up, Sunny Jim…liberals are human–that means we have our own opinions, not just the ones the government tells the media that we should have. That doesn’t mean we’re incapable of hatred, or that it makes us hypocritical. It just means our standards are higher, and based upon individuals’ personalities and actions, and how they affect the common good.

Conservatives may have more practice hating, but they don’t hold a monopoly.

Yes, the conservatives. Leaders of extremist groups and a sink or swim mentality. But what else can you expect from the people that supported KluKluxKlan, Contras, and Yes, the conservatives. Leaders of extremist groups and a sink or swim mentality. But what else can you expect from the people that supported KluKluxKlan, Contras, and Saddam Hussein. (I’m not attacking conservatives just pointing out how silly it is to point fingers on who supposedly supported what)

If you can provide me with a cite showing that the liberals “supoorted” Stalin, Pol Pot, or the Viet Con, I will stop being a liberal and become a conservative for the rest of my life.

erg. Sorry about the messed up post. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes the Darkhold. Leader of messed up posting, bad grammar, indifference to spelling (when I don’t have a handy spell check) And poor cut and paste skills.

What’s the KluKluxKlan? I know there is a liberal member of Congress that was a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Are these groups related?

Ugh.

::sticking fingers in ears:::

Hydrocortisone, when come back, bring common sense.

Cite motherfucker? Put up or shut up.

Well Stalin = communist (nevermind the shades of communism) so since some liberals are into communism and supported that that means liberals like Stalin. I’m a little vague on Pol Pot I know there was heavy US involvement in the Khmer Rouge but I thought there was enough blame there to be shouldered by both liberals and conservatives. Viet Cong are easy anti war demonstrations = support for the enemy.

The Viet Con?

*Dear Most Honourable Brother,

As a former top official in the government of Ngo Dinh Diem, I urgently request your assistance with a transfer of funds in the amount of $48,900,000 United States Dollars into your personal account…*

No. They an offshoot of the Viet Con.

Arrgh… Fucking conservative hamsters.

blessedwolf, Democrat Robert Byrd from West Virginia(?) claims that joining the KKK immediately after WWII was the worst mistake of his life; he was in them briefly, left, and has apologized for it fully and repeatedly.

Is being even a nonactive member of a terrorist group unacceptable? Of course it is. Is it possible for someone to redeem themselves for youthful crimes by becoming a better person and showing sincere repentance? I tend to think yes. Do partisan fucks like to point at Byrd’s idiocy of half a century ago to descredit a great elder statesman? You betcha.

Daniel

What on earth are you talking about here? Let’s see how many times the Klan and Republicans have buddied up vs. how many times ‘liberals’ and the Klan have joined forces and see who comes out. Let’s start say the 1920’s up to David Duke…Go!

rofl! Funniest damn thing I’ve read all week (the week is young, but that’s good)!

As for the OP - get a fucking grip. If the best you can do is correct our spelling, bugger off.

Robert Byrd

Darkhold, to be fair, Southern Democrats have a long and infamous history of being conservative racist schmucks. You may want to keep score by self-described liberals and (for earlier eras) socialists vs. self-described conservatives, rather than by party demonination.

Daniel

A handful of people are having a “Hate Bush” event? And these people are liberals? Well, that’s good enough for me. ALL LIBERALS ARE CLOSED-MINDED HATERS!

And don’t get me started on women. I hear some of them commit crimes.
