I agree with the OP – liberals need to learn to follow the good example set by conservatives. While there may have been a conservative here or there who mildly disapproved of Bill Clinton during the course of his presidency, they at least had the decency and good manners to keep any negative opinions of him to themselves.
And that’s not even getting into the universal liberal desire to murder innocent people by the millions. Scumbags.
I have to really grudgingly admire conservatives for being so much better at politics than the liberals. They have managed to frame disgreement with the Republican president as treason and hate, while their own disgreements with Clinton never got any such response that I remember. Not to mention the comparison to what Clinton was impeached for, compared to what things Reagan and the W. Bush got away with.

Now luci, I don’t know most of the others, but I happen to call minty green a friend in real life as well as on the boards. I have no actual carnal knowledge of the gentleman in question, but here are some facts which I can lay on the table in lieu of laying something else on the table.
He drives a Volkswagon. A 4-door Volkswagon, not one of the sporty ones. A bug-fucker would most likely drive something larger, or at least more sporty. Offsets the feeling of inadequacy you know.
His house has a wetbar. A wetbar! Now this is a man’s man. An entire section of the house dedicated to all things alcoholic.
He has a flat-panel TV mounted on the wall in the kitchen. Sports fan that he is, he has arranged matters so he doesn’t have to miss a play, even when he’s away from the sofa. Throw in the extra-cool factor of a flat-panel TV and the “real man” meter has to creep up a bit.
Let’s see, what else. Gutters full of leaves? Check. Automatic cleaning device for the pool so he doesn’t have to do it his damn self? Check. Automatic deference to the wife during shopping “Whatever you want honey.”? Check. Buys his friends rounds at the bar? Check.
Nothing that I’ve seen would seem to indicate that he is any less of a man than the average Joe. Note this is not a request for definitive evidence, by the way.
