I also noticed examples of you replying only a few times and never actually responding to the points brought up by other posters. In addition to the GD/Pit only restriction on your no-return threads, I also only went after the threads with a reasonable amount of replies. Nobody expects you to return to a debate when there’s only two or three posts. Furthermore, some of these threads appear to be simply questions. But they are still debates, in the Great Debates forum, and you did not return to your own debate.

Sorry, I missed a memo or something. Liberals aren’t supposed to hate people? Since when? I’ve been a liberal my entire life, and I hate all sorts of people, for a variety of reasons. George W, Richard Gere, Ronald Reagan, more than one poster on these boards*, Saddam Hussein, Julia Roberts, Jesse Helms, the guy who taught my Intro to Journalism class back in '99… I got nothing against hate, it’s just about who you hate, and why.
*Although not, against all expectation, Brutus, whom I find oddly cuddly.
A rotary engine? Sweet! That’s the coolest thing about the RX series. What model year? If it is a 2004 you may be interested in this, if you haven’t seen it already.
Remember our conversation at the Baby Superstore, if it was built after 2002 it is supposed to have the upper tether and two lower anchorage latches. As I mentioned there I think the new regs are killer, but year after year more reports come out about babies dying in accidents which were preventable if the car seats were installed properly. So the regulators just mandated new restraint systems which are easier/more foolproof. I would not have thought installing a car seat correctly would be all that difficult using a lap belt/shoulder strap, but you’d be suprised. Getting the tension just right and the positioning and everything really is tricky for some seats/cars. The worst part is hand-me-down carseats or garage-sale car seats in newer cars because they were often designed with different assumptions(a hand-tightened lap belt instead of an automatic shoulder belt for instance) and are even trickier to install properly. Something like 85% of car seats are installed improperly. Not all of these would result in catastrophic failure of course, but they aren’t providing all the protection they could.
I guess the 238 or 197 horsepower engine(standard 6-speed transmission versus automatic) on that RX-8 has to weigh in favor of you being a bugfucker though.
