Surprised there’s any lifting gas left after this much time…
Some plot advancement, at least.
What feels like a year our time is 5 minutes OOTS time.
Less than that, probably. Elan’s tried eleven times, each try taking 6 seconds.
And he burned through all his cantrip slots, all his 1st level slots and a couple 2nd level slots. Still has lots of high level slots left, but this is by far the most spells he’s cast in a single day. He’s never cast more than 2 or 3 in one day before.
I think it’s charming that we see a high level character sweating over casting simple little “intro” spells.
Great. He repaired the airship just so we can spend another year on it.

I think each “episode” had been strong recently. The problem is just that new ones are published so rarely.
15 days between those last two, for those keeping score…
Elan continues his streak of surprising effectiveness. Me likey!
Hi-three
Love it.
Given the owner of the airship, that’s probably actually true.
Guy can’t cast a fix-it cantrip in eleven tries, but gets the healing spell off while swinging upside down on a rope. Must be a dashing swordsman, arrive in the nick of time sort of thing.
That’s the advantages of taking Swashbuckler as a class, I guess.
Elan’s central truth: he can’t concentrate when it’s boring, he can only concentrate when it’s AWESOME.
Also, hi-three made me laugh harder than any other OOTS joke in months.
I had totally overlooked the hi-three. :smack: Brilliant joke!
Hey, a funny strip! I’d kind of forgotten that ol’ Rich was capable.
I love how unarmed Roy, being a high level fighter, can still punch out an ice troll that’s 4 times his height.
Of course, that enemy is going to be back next round and extra pissed off, but it was still a cool scene.
Poor Roy still got upstaged by the upside down swashbuckler, tho.
Man, if the swashbuckler can’t outshine the vanilla fighter in a fight on a zeppelin, what’s the point?
