That’s the one, and he’s definitely got the right kind of comedy chops. Surprised the heck out of me.
There are probably clips of him in Cuckoo out there (there’s a comedy fight scene that likely features prominently but that’s not typical of the sitcom as a whole). His role is very Elanesque - a cheerful, goofy, handsome, physically fit, well-meaning idiot.
While waiting for an update (no, sorry), I re-read the most recent strip. Wow, that was great.
a joke about black speech balloons
Belkar writhing from “protection from evil”
nice bit of exposition (they have an advantage because the baddies are distracted, per rules) in the bard song
gorgeous drawing of flames and glowing swords and all that
dumb joke from Elen
and a nice chunk of plot development.
Depends on the campaign. Early editions of (A)D&D had bearded female dwarves. I don’t know if 3.5 had them or not, really, but it varied even then with the setting (Forgotten Realms dwarves did, Eberron dwarves didn’t).
One of the prequel books shows a carnival sideshow, where one of the attractions was a bearded lady. An attendee complains that it doesn’t count, because she’s a dwarf. So apparently, bearded female dwarves are a known thing in Stickworld, even if not all female dwarves have beards (maybe it’s just the style for them to shave).
Nor is this the first instance of a bearded baby in the strip: Nale’s always had a few strands of his goatee.
