So I guess Crystal got sold to the Golem maker, then.
Probably not; according to people in the thread for this strip over on the GITP forum, he was killed off in a bonus strip in one of the books. Plus, most golem types don’t speak.

The golem-maker might have been ressurrected.
Crystal killed the golem maker, so I don’t know how keen he’d be to bring her back even if he was resurrected.
She’s undead, not a golem. She can speak, and retains some memories about her past. A golem, like the one Roy got turned into, is mindless and can’t talk. Roy wasn’t undead, he was basically a machine made out of human body parts. Crystal’s been spending time with a genuine necromancer.
You’re probably right, Miller. I don’t recall seeing purple undead in the strip before now though; am I forgetting an instance?
If they preserved her body in some sort of readily available alcohol, like wine (stuff her into a wine barrel), until they could get her to a necromancer then the body would be stained purple.
The stitching and mega-punch still makes me think “golem”. Hey, if this world can have crazy vampire rules, I’m not ruling out golem just yet.

Note, BTW, that it takes six corpsesto make a golem. It isn’t just Crystal. It appears to have a male torso. It doesn’t dress like Crystal. its hair is grey, Crystal’s was black. It doesn’t even have her earrings. So I think its Crystals brain and little else of her.
Well, not really about book Six, but I did get my Calendar and latest book yesterday 
I love the way the characters in the Calendar hint around at knowing what’s going to happen without actually spoilering a thing!
Roy was turned into a Bone Golem; Crystal’s been turned into a Flesh Golem, and the archetypical Flesh Golem could most certainly speak.
