I think this film was from 2010, and I think it is Spanish. Here is an English version.

SPOILER: Whoever gave it an English title gives away the ending in the title.

If you know the film I’m talking about, can you tell me its original title, and who made it?

It appears the original title is The Power Of Words by Andrea Gardner.
Edit: I’m seeing that it’s based off something (book? essay?) called ‘Change Your Words, Change Your World’.

The version I’m looking for is in (I believe) Spanish. Also, ISTR that the good deed doer was a man.

I find this video sooooo incredibly insulting and patronizing.

I was at a nonprofit conference where they played it and talked about how powerful it was…then we went into breakout rooms…I did not hold back.
