Ok, so this question has probly been asked several million times…but how do you tell how many total posts have been made?

Anyway, go to the SDMB forum summary page, you know, the one that has the links for each forum, and look in the upper right hand corner. At this moment it says “51661 threads in total - 975755 posts in total”
It took me a second, but I got it. Pretty funny.
There are fewer than 1,000,000 posts on the SDMB. How could it have been asked several million times unless there are like 20 off-the-board times for every on-the-board time?
