IMO…
It just looks like those generic “tribal” tats that you see everywhere these days. It doesn’t resemble anything traditional in any of the tattoo books I have or in my tattoo experience.
Agreed: it looks bog-standard Tribal - a popular modern style whose influences come as much from Western decorative traditions as anything ethnic. Similar examples here.
