Could anyone tell me of more message boards like this one? I enjoy the forum.

Quite a few Dopers have bulletin boards. SDMB spinoffs founded by other Dopers include (UnaBoard, Fabulous Forums of Fathom), and the Australia/New Zealand specific G’Dope in Australia.
On my Web site, there’s the Cyburbia Forums, a bulletin board that caters to urban planners and others interested in cities and the built environment. It’s NOT a SDMB spinoff, but it uses the same software (vBulletin) on the back end. I’m sure there’s other subject-specific Doper-managed bulletin boards out there.

I found this site from a link on Cz28.com (or maybe it was ls1.com…hmm). They have Lounge boards where people ask questions, though we tend to get more silly answers 
.-but not always.
Both of their layouts are similiar to this one as well.
Welcome to the SDMB, E.T. Bass. The GQ forum is for factual questions. This question is a matter of opinion, so I’ll move this thread to the IMHO forum.

… Just to post a post… I must say that THIS place is far and better than anywhere else I’ve ever been involved with! (Admittedly, I’ve only discovered the internet over the last 2 years) but oh! How much I’ve grown and how much I’ve learnt to communicate online!!)
… and now once yet again, I feel I’m being boring, silly and totally inane… Anyway, as long as you people are quite happy to accommodate me and at least give me some kind of credence!

E.T., IMHO is also the forum we use for polling, so this is the right spot for your thread. You are asking for many people to supply their own personal answers to the same question, not THE one and only answer.
GQ is for factual questions more like “What’s the heaviest substance possible?”

Excepting Usenet, the busiest bulletin boards I’ve come across all deal with computer gaming and related modding (case lighting and modifications, video card overclocking, and the like), auto enthusiasm/modding (mainly sports cars and ricers), anime, and UK soccer. There’s literally hundreds of extremely busy computer gaming and anime sites; the “build it, and they will come” attitude among Webmasters is true.
Wanna’ talk about failing dot-coms? Fucked Company. Eyeglasses? Optiboard. Skyline photography? Skyscraper Page. Late model Volkswagen Passats? Club B5.
The SDMB really isn’t a general interest bulletin board in the purest sense, but I think it’s the largest English language bulletin board of its kind.

Because ‘good’ and ‘best’ and even ‘like this one’ in relation to message boards are subjective terms; all you can get is opinion.
As opposed to questions like “What is the airspeed of a swallow”, which has a definite factual answer.
Don’t take the moving of this thread as a chastisement; bibliophage is doing you a favour by moving your thread to a forum where it will get a better range of responses.
