Other than CNN/FOXnews, what is your online news source?

NW Cable News
Statesman Journal
The Oregonian

www.gomemphis.com

Then again, (a) I live in Memphis, and (b) I work for this Web site. I know I’m biased, but I couldn’t pass up a chance to plug the site.

Yahoo News:smiley: I see a lot of AP and Reuters feed on that site but no Editorial whatsoever. Isn’t Yahoo just other people’s news with a banner atop ?

The BBC, Ha’retz Daily, CNN, The Irish Times.

A really good up-to-the-minute ‘other people’s news’ site is NewsNow. It even partially worked on 9-11.

www.bloomberg.com is really good if you like business, economics and straight news focus. Investment bankers live on their bloombergs (incidentally invented by Michael Bloomberg, who is now the NYC mayor). This free on-line version is pretty dang good.

Oh and I did used to look at the South China Morning Post until it went subscription.

I use USA Today most of the time.

You’re welcome, uJest. And stop calling me Surely.

I like the idea behind Plastic

news, comments, debate; all submitted by the readers.

It reminds me a bit of the SDMB at times.

I use the CBC (www.cbc.ca), the Globe and Mail (www.globeandmail.com) and La Presse (http://www.cyberpresse.ca - in French).

Well I too, like to read the BBC but most of my news comes from The New York Times. You do have to register to read anything but the front page but it’s worth it. Some times I also go to Salon for some stuff.

I use iwon.com - http://home.iwon.com/

I have my choice of AP, Reuters, or CBS for news, and someday I may win $25,000,000 just for reading it. Beat that!

[sub]Okay, the odds of winning are really bad, but it usually has all the news I want to see, and no one else is paying me to read their news.[/sub]
